Lions training was provided at the Founding Cultures Museum, Grande Anse, on Saturday, June 23,2024. It was a great pleasure to have District Governor Susan Stennick attend (at the podium, wearing royal blue).Â
The event was very informative, educational, well attended and appreciated. “Thank you” to Carlos Vicente (standing to the left, wearing yellow). and his team of trainers for the excellent presentations.

Christmas raffle
A Christmas raffle, organized by Lion Thomas Riordon and Lion Esther O’Neil, was held and the first lucky ticket winner was Benoit Robichaud who won a fancy crab meat package, the second lucky ticket winner was Paul Murphy, who won a framed print by PEI artist Maurice Bernard. A total of $ 627.00 was raising with the raffle.

Bass Fishing Tournament 2024
On Sunday, August 11, 2025 a fundraising barbeque for Ste. Jerome Catholic church, Shippagan was held. Members from both Pokeshaw and Black Rock Lions Club and Shippagan Lions Club hosted the event.

The fall/November 2024 meeting was held a Aunt Kate's Maple Camp, in Pokeshaw. In attendance was MLA Luc Robichaud as well as fellow Shippagan Lions Club members. A pot luck lunch was served. "Thank you" Lion Bernie for providing the venue.

On June 7th, we celebrated our 5th anniversary and the birthday of Lions Club International. We hosted a lobster supper with guests from all over NB. A good time and meal was had by all. The Lobster was delicious. A big "thank you" to all our Lions members who organized and worked this event.
Our summer raffle will be on this Christmas hand crafter quilt, please contact our club to purchase tickets, they are $5.00 each or 3 for $ 10.00 and the draw will be on November 16th, 2025.
